We’ll Not Compromise Standard – Nsirim

The Chairman of the Rivers State Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Agency, Prince Timothy Nsirim, says the agency would not compromise quality and standard in the task of ensuring pothole-free roads in Rivers State.

He stated this while speaking to newsmen after monitoring the pace of work at NTA/Obiri Ikwerre junction maintenance work.

Prince Nsirim noted that the NTA/Obiri/Ikwerre junction maintenance work was the first task of the new board, saying “we are going to do proper road maintenance that would stand the test of time”.

He explained that after the NTA/Obiri Ikwerre junction rehabilitation, the board would be divided into three units for speedy execution of its mandate on zero pothole.

Nsirim said: “Be patient with the government of Governor Nyesom Wike. He means well for the State and the agency under his watch would not compromise quality and standard”.

He urged the people of the state to see themselves as members of the agency by feeding it with information that would be geared towards ensuring zero-pothole roads in Rivers State, stressing that activities of the agency will cover cover the 23 local government areas of the state.

He said the agency will give priority would be given to Port Harcourt City and Obio/Akpor Local Government Areas and environs.
