One of the respected Ikwerre Traditional Rulers, Chief Enyinda Kingsley Akaninwo, Eze Orluwocha (V) of Rumueme Kingdom in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, has joined millions of Governor Nyesom Wike's supporters to campaign for his second term bid.
What does Rt. Hon. Rotimi Ameachi really want? Is he playing out or confirming the hidden Ikwerre Agenda? Does he truly want the APC to win an election or capture power in 2019 or he wants the Party to lose so that Ikwerre sons will remain as Governor and Minister?
The iroko is arguably the tallest, strongest and most iconic tree in the forests of Africa. As a king in the forest, the iroko provides shelter to animals and humans alike. It is often referred to as 'African teak' because of its astonishingly multi-faceted value. And in most cultures, when a great man dies, his demise is likened to the fall of an iroko.
Turbulent situations bring out the best in men and throw up the best of men. If the Emmanuel Chinwenwo Aguma SAN had lived in about 2400 years ago, he would have qualified for the Pens of Pericles, a chronicling of the great by the great; a scribbling by the best of pens in the land. His death thus represents a big loss not only to Rivers State and the Nyesom Ezenwo Wike administration but to our generation. Nigeria indeed mourns a great loss in this great son.
It is quite instructive that I am making this response to an article written by the immediate past Commissioner of Information, Rivers State, Mr Austin Tam-George on the strength of an in-box message by the General Overseer of Who U Epp Ministries international. I say this because it will form the core of my response.
