The Council of Chiefs, in its general meeting held in rumuakande Emohua on the 24th of November, 2020 expressed her satisfaction with the sterling commitment of Ohna Awuse to the peace and progress, the community has witnessed in recent times.
Members of the Council were unanimous in their belief that Ohna Awuse has demonstrated sufficient sincerity and positive effort towards the economic development of the kingdom. This is as a result of the numerous human capital development and industrial investment being undertaken by Ohna Awuse. The council of Chiefs recalled the fruitful efforts made by Ohna Awuse to initiate the peace that led to all the youths involved in cult-related activities returning to the community with determination to maintain order ever since.
The Chiefs observed that Ohna Awuse had recently attracted some laudable projects to the community, including the Rumuche/Rumuakande road constructed by Julius Berger, the regular provision of incentives for widows and the less privileged as well as the provision of regular electricity in the community. This has encouraged those who vacated the community in the past to begin to return, because of the peace that is reigning in Emohua.
The council also expressed her gratitude to the Nne New Eli Emohua, Eze Ohna V. C. B. Okor for wisely recognizing Ohna Awuse and inducting him into the Ohna Emohua in council, noting that the choice is timely and auspicious.
The council prayed for the continuation of peace in the community while calling on the youths to adhere strictly to the tenets of peace to which they have all resolved.
