Suspicion Over Death Of 40-Yr-Old Man In Brothel

…As Family Insists On Autopsy

The family of Enuduisu Godday Odili, a native of Delta State who died in one of the brothels along Azikiwe Street Mile 2, Diobu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State  has called for the autopsy test and a thorough investigation to unravel the circumstance that led to the  death  of the deceased.

In an interview with our reporter, the younger brother to the deceased Mr Chukwuemeka Odili revealed that they suspect foul play in the death of their brother as they were informed hours after the incident.

Mr Odili called on the Commissioner of Police, CP Joseph Mukan to ensure justice is served  whosoever that is found culpable during the course of investigation is made to face the law.

Meanwhile the spokesperson of Rivers State Police command, SP Nnamdi Omoni in a telephone interview with our reporter confirmed the incident adding that the female commercial sex worker that harboured the deceased in her room in the brothel has been arrested by the Azikiwe Divisional Police headquarters and transferred to State Criminal Investigation Department, Port Harcourt for further investigation.

Dependable source told our correspondent that the deceased lodged in the brother on Thursday night, 3rd December, with a commercial sex worker but the family was informed of his death on Friday 4th December  when they called his phone number and a Police Officer picked and asked them to come to the Azikiwe Divisional Police headquarters, Illabouchi, Mile 2 Diobu .

Our correspondent who visited Azikiwe Divisional Police station saw the Divisional Police Officer calming down the family members .
