Odegu Political Leader Reposes Confidence In Lloyd

…As EMOLGA Assembly Leader Buries Father

As political gladiators reflect on the just concluded Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries, a member of the Odegu Political Forum, Eze Hon. Bob Chima Okala, says he does not only have absolute confidence in the ability of the Emohua PDP Chairmanship candidate, Dr. (Hon) Chidi Julius Lloyd, to do well in office if elected as the Executive Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area but that he expects him to do better than his predecessors.

Eze Okala who stated this during the burial of late Eze Douglas Kojo Onu Agbarakwu, father of the leader of EMOLGA Legislative Assembly, Hon. John Douglas at Rumuodogo 2, Emohua Local Government Area at the weekend, said he had no doubt that Dr. Lloyd had the pedigree to excel in office if given the chance.

Describing Dr.  Lloyd as God sent, Eze Okala said, “Chidi Lloyd has come to sweep and clean up all the rubbish and mess as well as to correct the political mistakes by successive administrations because he understands the political system.  He also knows that you run a government from policy, principle and programme”.

Okala, a former Chairman of EMOLGA as well as Grand Patron of Odegu Political Forum, said his group decided to pay their last respect to the late Eze Douglas Kojo Onu Agbarakwu because he was a kind-hearted man who had the interest of Odegu Clan at heart during his life time.

On his part, the chief mourner and leader of EMOLGA Legislative Assembly, Hon. John Douglas, said his late dad was not just the Nyenwe-Eli of Rumuodogo 2 but a community leader par excellence, adding that he would be deeply missed by those he left behind.

He expressed gratitude to the new leadership of PDP in Emohua LGA led by Hon. Lloyd, adding that words would not be enough to describe their presence and support to his family at this moment of grief.

The EMOLGA Legislative Assembly boss gave assurance that the people of Rumuodogo 2 would continue to support the government of the day both at the local and state levels.
